Once your application is approved, we’ll send you an approval email and need to collect the deposit. Here are some tips that you can use to prepare for move-in. At move-in you’ll need to provide proof of the following to our leasing agent in order to get keys to the property.

  1. Utilities – Generally the tenant is responsible for all utilities. With your approval email you will receive information on who to contact and the date by which you must have them transferred.
  2. Funds for move in – You must pay the deposit within 48-hours of application approval.  The deposit may be one month’s rent or more. The amount you must pay will be specified in the approval email. On your move in date, you will pay the first month’s rent. You will pay for a FULL month of rent. If you move in on any other day aside from the 1st of the month, the following month will be prorated.
    NOTE: all funds at or before move-in must be cashier’s checks or money orders  payable to King Realty and Management. After move-in you will be able to using our standard procedure. Click HERE to learn more about rent payments.
  3. Renter’s Insurance – Renter’s insurance is REQUIRED. You must have a policy that also contains King Realty as an additional insured. The property owner does carry homeowners insurance however, his/her coverage does not cover you or your belongings.
