3 Spring Maintenance Tips that will save you money!!
While it’s been SUPER cold lately and most tenants haven’t turned their AC on in awhile, I think it’s a good idea to think ahead and be proactive. Here are three things you should consider doing at your rental this spring!
- Schedule a spring tune-up on your HVAC. It’s a good idea to have your HVAC system serviced 1-2 times per year. This helps maintain and preserve the system which will help it last longer. Not to mention it also helps with energy efficiency which your tenant may appreciate!
- Plan to clean your gutters. If you have large trees around your property it’s a good idea to clean those gutters. This helps to ensure that water is flowing AWAY from the structure and may also help to prevent any bug issues at the property.
- Consider painting the exterior of the property and/or check your siding! This will help ensure there’s no rotting wood (conducive condition for termites) and will help your curb appeal. Both you and your tenant can feel proud of the property.
